Braids are one of the hottest hair trends and seen on catwalks all over the world during fashion week. Your hair is your best accessory and should always be treated as such!
{Here are a few things you should keep in mind when trying your own braids at home}
1. Brush your hair before you braid. Remove any knots before you start to make braiding smoother and easier.
2. If you have thick, coarse hair, use argan oil to smooth your hair to achieve neater braids.
3. If you have fine, soft hair, use products like dry shampoo or sea salt sprays to add more grip to your hair.
4. Stretch out your braids. This is the most important step people! Pull gently at the sides of your braids to make them look wider and thicker!

Gatsby Updo Tutorial

Today we are linking up with our stylist Elise to give you this lovely gastsby inspired updo! Its so simple and a perfect way to change up your everyday look!

Step 1- Start by separating your bangs (If you have them) from the rest of your hair. Then style them whichever way you like. (She used a curling iron)
Step 2- Tease the crown of your head a bit, this will add some volume.

Step 3- Then all you have to do is put the headband on top of your hair like a crown (while your hair is down) and then grab the rest of your hair at the back and tuck it into the headband. The messier the better!

Step 4-For the final touch, pull out your bangs or some loose pieces in the front. Now how simple was that! You have yourself a pretty updo in less than 3 minutes!

 Happy Friday and thanks for reading!  Many more hair tutorials coming to the blog soon! Comment and tell us tutorials you want to see!
