Step-by-Step on Jessica
Step 1. Part hair to the side.
Step 2. Grab a small section of hair.
Step 3. & 4. Split into 3 parts.
Step 5. Start French braiding, making sure to braid diagonally across the head.
Step 6. Secure braid with an elastic hair tie.
Step 7. Split the end of the hair into 3 sections and braid each section (tie off each braid with an elastic)
Step 8.Combine the three braids into one braid going down the side of the hair.
Step 9. Secure into a bun next to or above ear with Bobbi pins. Pulling out pieces to make it loose as you pin.
Extra Tricks
* You should always brush your hair before braiding. Knots and tangles make it hard for the person braiding your hair. Spritz a little hairspray when you start to make the hair more workable.
* Part on your natural side. Adjust instructions according to your part.
* Day old hair is best!! A little grit is good for braids as they hold-up better. Clean hair is too slippery.
